the problem
before this, alvic only had an instagram with a dozen before-and-after reels and a phone number. a web search didn't turn up anything else, so there was nothing for google to show when someone nearby looked for a window cleaner.
their whole way of quoting was "dm us a photo". alvic wanted more customers, and a place where people could ask for a quote without having to find them on instagram first.
what i built
one page in nuxt 4, prerendered and served from cloudflare workers. the only javascript that runs is the before-and-after slider and the quote form, since most visitors are on their phones.
what matters for the owner
- quotes start with a photo
- the form asks for the job type, suburb and a note, then opens whatsapp with all of it filled in. the customer attaches photos right in the chat, the same way alvic already quoted.
- the work does the talking
- the instagram reels became a sideways strip of clips hosted on the site, plus a drag-the-line slider with real before-and-after photos: a pool fence, an oven, shower screens and more.
- found on google
- local business structured data, a sitemap, and a google business profile linked from the footer. calls and quote requests are already coming in through the site.
